I have a 1997 dodge neon 125k miles. Im looking to get liberty insurance (basic insurance) but every were i go says $400 a month for basic (in a year i can buy 2 of my cars for that much) I live in pinellas park florida there is hardly any crime in my neighborhood (2 cops live on my street) so i just dont get why my insurance is so high. I know im 18 and all but dam So i am ask why it is so high i have a clean recored and all no tickets nothen at all got my high scool diploma. I have a friend (single mom of 2) and she needs to get cheap car insurance on her ford explore. She let it lapse for 6 months and now her loan company wants to repo her car, even though she has made every car payment. (she leases her car)...(kinda like rent to own) She got a quote from my agent, but it was going to be way too much for her. It was dark and raining. I just came off the bay bridge in SF and am positive I was driving below 40 on the bridge and between 40-60 when I got off the bridge. The cop was on 80E past fremont exit. He said I was at 67 in a 50 zone and also did not give me enough time to look for my proof of insurance.
